CaseSlate is provided to surgeons' offices to schedule surgical cases and notify the people involved. By using it, the office agrees to these terms.
The office's responsibilities
- Use CaseSlate only for the office's own scheduling and keep sign-in details private.
- Check the case details and who will be notified before sending. CaseSlate reads order sheets automatically and can make mistakes.
- Use an email account the office is authorized to send from, and have whatever agreements its own email provider requires for health information (for example, a HIPAA business associate agreement).
Email sending
CaseSlate sends notifications from the account the office connects, only when the office's scheduler acts or an automatic retry of a failed email runs. Delivery depends on the office's email provider and the recipients'.
Availability and changes
We work to keep CaseSlate running and may update features over time. It is provided as is, without warranties.
